We design, develop and assemble all Circula watches in Germany, more precisely in Pforzheim, the watchmaking heart of the black forest, where Circula was founded in 1955. For this reason, our watches can be called “Made in Germany”.
Watches Made in Germany – what does it mean?
“Made in Germany” means that the majority of the added value must take place in Germany. For our watches, this means that we have individual components such as the Miyota 9015 movement of our Classic Automatic watches, sourced from abroad, but each movement is checked and fine-tuned again by our watchmakers before installation. The watches themselves are also assembled with traditional craftsmanship in Germany. In this way, we ensure that our high quality standards are met at all times and also support traditional German watchmaking.
German watches with German movements
In contrast to most other German watch manufacturers, whose watches are also Made in Germany, our watches from the strictly limited Heritage collection even use genuine German in-house NOS movements by P.U.W. from the 1970s! The watches are available as Heritage Automatic or Heritage Hand-Wound.
