"Made in Germany" - much more than just origin
The "Made in Germany" label guarantees that a significant part of the value creation takes place in Germany. For Circula watches, this means that although we source individual components, such as the Swiss Sellita SW200 movement in our AquaSport II, from abroad, each movement is checked again by our watchmakers before installation and fine-tuned if necessary. The watches themselves are also built in Germany using traditional craftsmanship.
In this way, we not only ensure that our high quality standards are maintained, but also promote traditional German watchmaking in the region.
Committed to the origin
To this day, we remain committed to the roots of German watchmaking. We obtain components from responsible sources from partners with a high level of industry expertise - preferably from the region, in the case of our movements, from nearby Switzerland.
We only use durable "Swiss made" movements, which are embedded in robust 316L stainless steel or grade 2 titanium cases. Our scratch-resistant, anti-reflective sapphire crystal comes from a renowned specialist.
Circula leather straps, made by hand in Germany with great attention to detail, are made of fine calfskin from southern Germany and are vegetable-tanned in an environmentally friendly way. This is how we combine "Made in Germany" watches with sustainable production and create timepieces that convey the values and tradition of our origins.
In the tradition of our region
Margrave Karl-Friedrich von Baden founded the watch and jewelry industry in Pforzheim back in 1767. The Circula brand was founded in 1955 by Heinz Huber, a descendant of a family of watchmakers, and is now run by Cornelius Huber, the third generation of the family to embody the city's heritage.
What sets Circula apart is its connection to the region and its return to the watchmaking tradition of Pforzheim. In our manufactory today, we produce high-quality watches in the tradition of German watchmaking, inspired by the history of the craft, but always with a clear view of the future of mechanical watches.
The family business as the guiding principle of the manufactory
As a traditional family business, consistency and fairness are at the heart of everything we do. It is important to us that mutual respect and appreciation are not only practiced within our manufactory, but also in our dealings with our partners and customers.
Tolerance and equality are not just cornerstones for us, but a way of life that we live every day. We are pleased about the familiar and trusting cooperation that connects us with partners and customers all over the world. Together we create an atmosphere in which trust and mutual support can flourish.
