Field watches are originally military watches designed to meet the needs of ground troops. The main feature of these watches is their simple functionality and high robustness, which also makes them ideal companions for outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming or mountain biking.

Unlike pilot’s or diver’s watches, for example, field watches do not have an elaborate bezel. Classic field watches are simple three-hand watches without a date display – but with 24-hour divisions on the dial.

Our Circula ProTrail is additionally anti-magnetic up to 80,000 A/m because of its soft iron cage. This makes the watch insensitive to magnetic fields from smartphones, laptops and other electrical devices that can negatively affect the accuracy.

Thanks to the Super-LumiNova® in the hands and numbers/indexes of our Circula field watches, the time can be read reliably even in the dark. The insensitive sailcloth strap is custom-made. It holds the watch securely on the wrist and makes it comfortable to wear.

Another special feature is the 316L stainless steel case, which is extremely robust and scratch-resistant up to 1,200 Vickers thanks to a special surface treatment. Swimming is also possible with the Circula field watch. It is water resistant up to 15 ATM and has a screw-down crown.
