Ordering

The easiest, quickest and least error-prone way to order CiRCULA watches and bracelets is directly in our online shop. Once you have selected your desired product, place it in the shopping basket with one click and, after checking it, click again to proceed to the checkout. Enter your billing and shipping details and select the desired payment method (credit card, bank transfer, purchase on account, instalment purchase, PayPal). We only ship against prepayment, we do not offer cash on delivery. As soon as we have received your payment, we will dispatch your order - normally on the same day if payment is received by 2 pm. You can also send us an e-mail with your order and your details to hello@circulawatches.com. We will then send you the corresponding invoice with our bank details and dispatch your order after receipt of payment. It is also possible to order by telephone.

By focussing on direct online sales, we can offer our high-quality watches at attractive prices. For this reason, we can only co-operate with selected retailers who fit in with our concept. You can find an overview here.

Unfortunately not. Our workshop is not open to the public. However, you can view, try on and buy all our watches and bracelets at Deutsche Uhren und Schmuck on the 1st floor of Schmuckwelten in Pforzheim. The staff there will give you detailed and competent advice.

After you have clicked on ‘Continue’ in the shopping basket, you will be taken to the checkout. There you will find the ‘Voucher code’ field right at the top.

The delivery times are noted directly next to the product in our online shop. Please note that these are estimates and delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

Yes, we offer optional express shipping with UPS. Please contact us at hello@circulawatches.com for possible shipping times and additional fees.

If you order within the EU, the prices are as stated including VAT. No customs procedure is required and there are no additional charges. If you are located outside the EU, our online shop will normally recognize this from your IP address and show you the applicable prices directly without VAT.

Your invoice will then also be issued VAT-exempt. Whether you have to pay taxes when importing the watch depends on local regulations. Our forwarding agent will handle the import procedure for you and send you a request for payment if necessary.

As soon as your watch is dispatched, you will receive a dispatch notification with a tracking link in an e-mail and your invoice in a separate e-mail.

Usage and service

To start a mechanical watch, turn the crown slowly and evenly in the basic setting in the direction of the twelve upwards (crowns of diving watches must first be unscrewed in the direction of the six downwards). The spring is fully wound after approx. 40 turns. With hand-wound watches, you will feel resistance. Avoid overwinding at all costs. In the case of mechanical watches with automatic winding, i.e. a rotor as the oscillating weight, the watch will continue to run constantly after the first winding if you wear it regularly. The maximum power reserve after full winding is noted directly on the product in our online shop.

Our watches with automatic winding can also be wound by hand. They have a slipping clutch that prevents the spring from being overloaded. The spring is fully wound after approx. 40 turns. If you wind your automatic watch by hand, turn the crown slowly and evenly upwards in the direction of the twelve in the basic setting. Ideally, automatic watches are wound via the oscillating weight (rotor), by wearing them on the arm or on a watch winder. However, occasional winding by hand is not a problem.

Pull the crown out to position 1 (crowns of diver's watches must first be unscrewed in the direction of the six downwards). You can now move the date display with the crown.

CAUTION: Do not adjust the date between 8 pm and 2 am, as the movement automatically advances the date during this time and the movement may be damaged.

If you have set the date but it is already turning at midday, the watch is not in the correct 12-hour cycle. You must then set the time 12 hours forward by pulling the crown out to position 2 and then correct the date.

All gear deviations are noted directly with the product in our online shop. We regulate our mechanical watches in Pforzheim with the help of a professional timing scale after they have been fitted in the case. However, the rate of a watch is sensitive and depends on many influences such as wearing habits or arm position. A slight knock can also be enough to change the rate. It is important to measure the rate deviation under full winding after approx. 40 revolutions. In our experience, measuring with apps does not show correct values. Specialised time scales or real-time measurement compared to a radio-controlled watch provide the most reliable results.

This depends on the model and is noted directly with the product in our online shop. Further information on what the individual details mean can be found here: https://circulawatches.com/atm-uhr-wasserdichtigkeit/

IMPORTANT: Please check the screw-down crown before every contact with water. Even if you go into the water several times, e.g. in a swimming pool, check the crown every time you go swimming. Damage caused by moisture inside the watch is excluded from the guarantee, as the water resistance of the case can only be guaranteed at the time of testing, before despatch.

We use Swiss Super-LumiNova® as an illuminant in hands, indices/numbers and, if necessary, on bezels. Super-LumiNova® requires UV light for optimum charging. Ordinary artificial light will only produce a greatly reduced effect. You will therefore achieve maximum luminosity if you expose your watch to UV light and then go into a dark room.

There is no fixed revision interval, as how often a revision is due depends very much on personal wearing behaviour and, of course, on the movement itself. As a rule of thumb, however, you can say that a mechanical watch should be serviced approximately every 3 to 7 years. During the service, the movement is cleaned, all seals are replaced and all bearing points in the movement are re-oiled. We will be happy to carry out this service for you. You can find more information here: https://circulawatches.com/en/service/revision-of-your-watch/

We have created a short instruction video for you that you can watch here.

This depends primarily on your wearing habits and varies from person to person. Normally, a leather strap lasts about 1 to 2 years, after which it should be replaced. Steel straps last longer. However, despite the high resistance of our straps, signs of ageing and wear and tear cannot be avoided.

We give a two-year guarantee on all our watches with regard to the movement, the hands and the dial. The guarantee applies to any manufacturing defects. The guarantee period begins with the purchase. The date of purchase on the invoice is decisive. Please keep the invoice in a safe place. Within the warranty period, manufacturing defects will be repaired by us free of charge. Not covered are batteries, wear and tear on the case, glass or strap as well as damage caused by improper use (e.g. accident, glass breakage, water damage, torn out crown).

We can only confirm whether a warranty claim actually exists after checking your watch for any damage caused by improper use. Please be assured that, in case of doubt, we will always decide in your favour.

If you have a warranty claim, please write to us at  hello@circulawatches.com before sending your watch. Further information can be found on our General Terms & Conditions page.

Yes, the warranty claim from the date of purchase by the first owner is retained and is transferred to the second or third buyer. When buying a second-hand watch, please make sure that the original invoice shows the date of the first purchase. Of course, we also carry out service work on used or older watches and will be happy to send you a cost estimate.

The repair of a watch takes about 3 weeks, plus the shipping time.

Brand & Technology

All CiRCULA watches are assembled, adjusted, and tested in Pforzheim. They bear the label "Made in Germany" and combine German manufacturing standards with Swiss watch movement technology.

At CiRCULA, "Made in Germany" means that the development, manufacture of selected components, assembly, adjustment, final inspection, and quality assurance for each model are carried out in Germany.

The watches are assembled, tested, and fine-tuned in Pforzheim. CiRCULA combines German manufacturing standards with high-quality Swiss movements. The designation "Made in Germany" thus stands for high-quality components, controlled final assembly, and high quality standards.

CiRCULA uses only high-quality Swiss automatic movements (Swiss Made), including Sellita SW200-1a, SW200-1b, SW330-2, and La Joux-Perret G100. These movements are considered reliable, easy to service, and maintainable worldwide.
